How to Apply
How to Apply Star Waterproof Interior in 3 Steps
Mix it in cement and apply the cemented liquid on walls, roofs, foundations, water tanks and washrooms.
Surface Preparation
Scrub and clean the surface thoroughly with a metal brush, repair any existing cracks and wash with plenty of water until it stops absorbing. For best adhesion, make sure it is free of loose material.
Mixing & Application
Mix Star Waterproof with cement and water according to the application method. Coating: 20-22 kg Star Waterproof with 50 kg cement plus water to brushable consistency. Mortar/plaster: 6-7.5 kg with 50 kg cement plus sand. Slurry: 5 kg with 50 kg cement plus water. Apply by brush, trowel or spray. Coating: 2-3 coats with 4-hour intervals, coverage 10 sq.ft./kg/coat on new walls and 12 sq.ft./kg/coat for repainting. Mortar/plaster: up to 20 mm per layer with 12-hour intervals.
Proper Curing
Allow proper curing for 3-5 days, protecting the surface from rain and direct sunlight for optimal performance.
