Working Principle

  • This is a waterproofing that penetrates deep into the concrete, by chemical reaction with the base. Penetration goes inside the existing pores and voids, thereby forming a waterproof barrier in it. Deep penetration is what distinguishes penetrating compound from standard waterproofing materials, such as coating, roll and membrane, since they all protect the surface without penetrating deep into element. When penetrating, the penetrating compounds form a kind of integral whole with concrete and, unlike standard insulations, can be destroyed or damaged only when the concrete itself destroyed.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Surface Preparation

    The surface should be clean, dry, and free of any loose material or contaminants

  • Mixing

    1. Pour Star Water Shield Concentrate into the mixing container and thoroughly mix and stir for at least 2 minutes using a slow speed (300-400 RPM) drill machine attached with a mixing paddle. 
    2. Retempering with water or solvent should not be done.

  • Apply

    Let the first coat dry completely up to 24 hours. This can vary based on temperature and humidity and conditions. Pour Star Water Shield Concentrate onto the surface to be waterproofed.
