Method of Application
Applying Star Polyurea Shield is straightforward
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, sound, and free from dust, plaster, oil, grease, paint, corrosion deposits, and other contaminants. The substrate should have a good mechanical key and must be completely dry without any water residue before application.
Mixing
Shake Star Polyurea Shield thoroughly until homogeneous. Transfer into a mixing container and mix for at least 2 minutes using a slow-speed drill machine (300–400 RPM) fitted with a suitable mixing paddle.
Application
Apply Star Polyurea Shield by spray equipment over the prepared surface. Apply multiple layers as required, maintaining an interval of 2–3 hours between coats based on the desired dry film thickness (DFT).
