How to Apply
Method of Application
Applying Star Epoxy Flooring is straightforward
Surface Preparation
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose material. Mechanically prepare the surface by grinding or shot blasting to achieve the proper profile for adhesion.
Mixing
Mix Part A and Part B of the 2-component epoxy system thoroughly using a slow-speed drill with a mixing paddle until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Application
Apply the mixed epoxy using a trowel, squeegee, or roller to achieve the desired film thickness of 500μm to 2mm. Allow to cure fully before returning the floor to service.
