Clean the substrate thoroughly, sanding the surface with fine sandpaper to remove any dirt, loose particles or previous flaking paint. Apply a water-thinnable universal wall primer, diluted 2:1 with water, using a brush, roller or spray gun. Drying time: 3-4 hours.
Putty Application
Fill any dents or imperfections with acrylic wall putty and leave to dry for 4-6 hours, then smooth by sanding with 180-grit sandpaper.
Applying Emulsion
Apply Star Premium Emulsion after priming and putty, leaving an interval of 3-4 hours between coats. For best results, lightly sand with 320-grit sandpaper before the final coat.
