Method of Application
How to Apply Star Lamination Shield Plus in 3 Easy Steps
Surface dry within 1 hour, hard dry within 8 hours, and ready to handle within 24 hours.
Surface Preparation
Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, and contaminants. If freshly painted, allow the paint to dry for at least 6 hours. Wipe already-painted surfaces with a wet cloth or soft foam, mask off trim or glass, and ensure the surface is completely dry before application.
Mixing
Mix Part A and Part B of Star Lamination Shield Plus in a clean container at a ratio of 4:1 to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Apply the mixture within one hour of mixing, working within the minimum 3-hour pot life.
Application
Apply the mixture on the painted surface using a brush, roller, or spray. Apply two or more coats in a direction perpendicular to the previous coat — multiple thin coats give better results than one thick coat. Allow the coating to cure for at least 24 hours before removing any masking tape.
