    • Ensure the substrate has a tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm². 
    • The concrete must be clean, sound, and free from dust, paint, oils, and other contaminants. 
    • New concrete should be cured for at least 28 days. 
    • Mechanically prepare contaminated surfaces using grinding, shot blasting, or similar methods. 
    • Remove all previous coatings unless they are firmly bonded. 
  • Priming

    • Apply MOT Primer to all areas. 
    • Multiple coats may be necessary for highly porous substrates. 
  • Scratch Coat

    • Mix Part A and Part B of the scratch coat with an electric stirrer. 
    • Apply with a trowel and roller, then broadcast sand for a firm grip with the topcoat. 
  • Mixing and Application

    • Mix the components thoroughly. 
    • Apply the mixed material to the prepared surface without delay using a trowel or depth set rake. 
    • Roll the surface with a spiked roller to release trapped air and smooth out trowel marks. 
  • Curing

    • Protect the area during installation and initial curing. 
    • Avoid application in temperatures below 10°C or above 85% relative humidity.
